The Dirty Truth About Plastics Only 10% of Plastic is Recycled

It presents case studies of real world solutions that address the two main steps to “closing the loop”: reducing plastic usage and improving recycling technology.

This exhibition intends to be a catalyst for change by raising awareness about the failures of current plastic recycling, and illustrating the critical necessity for change.

The exhibition opens a dialogue with all visitors about individual responsibility for plastic consumption, and new solutions to be explored.

This hypothetical exhibition is proposed as a temporary traveling exhibition- launched in Grand Central Station's Vanderbilt Hall. With over 60 people passing through the hall every minute, the exhibit has the potential to reach a large and diverse audience. It is designed to convey different levels of information depending on the amount of time the visitor is able to devote. Whether you have 30 seconds or 30 minutes, you'll walk away knowing more about the current state of Plastic Recycling.
